The Story

Réhahn took this photo of Tam Nhu, a six-year-old girl from the Co Tu ethnic group, on one of his many visits to the tribe. It is impossible not to smile while looking at the joy on her face. The Co Tu are especially close to the photographer because of their passion for preserving their culture. As part of the Giving Back project, a museum specifically for the Co Tu will open in 2019 to use as a community house and as a place to display important cultural artifacts.
